• Install and use Euratlas Periodis Expert on your internal network
• Description
• Euratlas Periodis Expert is a database and a historical atlas of Europe with editing functions. It describes the political status of Europe, North Africa and Near East at fixed intervals, from year 1 until year 2000, French version.
• The Site License allows you to use the program on your internal network and to print the maps for your school or university, for academic or research purposes.

• Main Features
• Euratlas Periodis Expert offers the following possibilities:
• 1) Navigate over the maps of Europe through space and time.
• 2) Explore the states and towns of a specific century, and measure the countries area.
• 3) Search a country, province or town in the current map or throughout the 21 available centuries.
• 4) Print or export and disseminate default maps of one or several centuries within your school or university, for academic or research purposes.
• 5) Create, print and disseminate at the same conditions as above, customized maps by changing the text of the labels and their placement.
• 6) Mark battles, events or landmarks with pins.
• 7) Print or export custom maps.
• You may install and use Euratlas Periodis Expert on your internal network or on the computers within the Institution, for academic or research purposes.

• I want to use the map of Italy 1300 as the basis for a map of Dante's Italy. I would need to add to this map the towns, rivers, mountains and other places Dante mentions in the poem. We may try to make this map interactive by adding links to the passages in the poem in which places are mentioned and images of these places as well.
